Darusha does a lot of different things. She is the Senior Editor at the Conversations Network and GigaVox Media, the internet audio networks started by IT Conversations’ founder Doug Kaye. She writes critically about technology and its effects on our society in her weblog The Golden Hammer, where she has been known to podcast audio segments. When she had more spare time, she wrote about science at 90ways.com, and hopes one day to have more spare time again. You can follow what she’s up to on her twitter feed. However, her main project these days is preparing herself and her new boat for setting off for an extended offshore cruise in the next year or so.

In the physical world, she is a website consultant for podcasters and other rich media providers, a freelance editor and writer and a civil servant. She is a poet, novelist, audio and video podcaster , a bicycle commuter, sailor, serial hair dyer and technophobic gadget junkie.

She lives in Victoria, BC, Canada where she sails most weekends with her partner, Steven.
