I've just learned that there's a movement afoot to create a new holiday - Future Day - and the first one will be March 1, 2012. How fitting, since that's the day that The Beauty of Our Weapons, a glimpse into one possible future, will be publicly released. So why not celebrate the future with a paperback, ebook or starting an audio podcast? Doubtlessly, people will still read (or at least consume stories somehow) in the future.
